About Us

CJ is a veteran of over 37 years in the commercial, resort and residential real estate development industry. He has directed development projects including condo conversions, commercial properties, town homes and custom homes in the Chicago area demonstrating a broad range of executive management capabilities. A co-founder of Island One Resorts in 1981, Erfurth was actively involved with daily development, management and sales operations of the resort hospitality company from 1996-2011. He oversaw the development, new construction and refurbishment of the company’s properties, as well as sales and in-house marketing operations in Orlando and Daytona Beach. His leadership rapidly took Island One to a prominent position in the time-share industry with over 1,400 employees and over $85M annually in sales.

In 1998, he designed and supervised the construction of Liki Tiki Lagoon Water Adventure. This 220,000 gallon water amenity, which includes a water-spouting volcano, wave pool, slides, toddlers area, interactive jets and a poolside bar and grill, was the first amenity of its kind in the vacation ownership industry. In 2007 he was a partner in Exceptional Escapes, a firm delivering travel club and consulting services to timeshare companies throughout the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean. In 2013 CJ along with Bobby Moore and Paul Barry launched Global Keg, an asset rental business that quickly became the largest keg rental company in the world. With leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as his finely tuned commercial talent, made CJ a natural for the role of President at Global Keg. In 2018, CJ formed Integrity development with his wife Christine and focuses on commercial development, construction, and consulting in the hospitality industry.

Erfurth was a co-founder and chairman of the board of the Island One Foundation, a charity focused upon the communities of resorts and vacation owners. In 2006, he received the Circle of Excellence Philanthropic Award which is recognized world wide from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA). His development and execution of two relief effort trips to Biloxi, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina were the focus of this award and the inspiration for the creation of the Foundation. In 2009, he directed the Foundation as a principal partner and raised $380,000 then building the first Habitat for Humanity home for a disabled veteran, earning Island One Resorts the ARDA Circle of Excellence Community Service Award.

He is also an active board member of the South Park Owners Association and ARB Board, which controls over 750 acres of commercial real estate, with tenants including Wal-Mart, Lowes and Marriott, as well as an active board member of Orange Tree Home Owners Association ARB Board. Since 1997 CJ has been an active board member of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office’s Police Athletic League which works with underprivileged children.
